Reggie and I water website .jpeg

Are you finding daily walks in Greenwich more stressful than enjoyable? If your dog pulls on the lead, ignores recall, or shows signs of aggression, you are not alone. Many owners face similar challenges, but with the right support, change can happen quicker than you think.

At Loose Lead Club, we specialise in transforming difficult behaviours into calm, manageable habits. Our qualified trainers and behaviourists provide structured, modern, and ethical training designed to help both you and your dog feel more confident.

Personalised Dog Training in Greenwich That Works

Every dog is unique, and so are the problems you may be facing. Our training programmes are designed to meet you where you are, giving you the tools and guidance you need.

We are particularly skilled in resolving the following challenges:

With our structured approach, we teach you to understand the reasons behind your dog’s behaviour. This ensures progress lasts well beyond the sessions. Owners often describe our training as practical and realistic, with results noticeable even within the first few weeks.

Our aim is simple: to create lasting change for both you and your dog so that life together becomes easier and more enjoyable.

Ethical Techniques You Can Trust

We do more than simply train dogs. We equip owners with the tools, understanding, and confidence to create lasting change.

Our in-person sessions take place where you need the most help, whether that’s in busy parks, on local walks, or at home. This means the training applies directly to your everyday challenges and gives you confidence the moment you step outside.

Support doesn’t stop once the session ends. With WhatsApp guidance, video feedback, and demonstration clips, you can continue progressing between sessions and have access to help whenever you need it.

Above all, our methods are modern, ethical, and proven. We focus on clear communication and structured techniques that both dog and owner can easily understand. This balanced approach is why so many families in Greenwich choose Loose Lead Club for lasting results.

I can’t recommend Loose Lead Club and Paul highly enough. I was running out of ideas and was recommended by a friend, and after seeing the difference in her dog I thiught I would give Loose Lead a try. He’s helped massively with my German Shepherd Rein's recall and overall listening skills. She’s gone from needing to be on a long line at all times to now being confidently off lead, which I honestly didn’t think we’d achieve so quickly. I was quite hesitant at first about using a prong collar and e-collar, but Paul took the time to explain everything clearly and really put me at ease. His approach is calm, knowledgeable, and tailored to your pup and yourself. One of our other big challenges was how overly excited she’d get around other dogs, especially not wanting to disengage or “say goodbye.” Paul helped us put clear, fair corrections in place for this, which made a huge difference to her focus and ability to settle. She’s now much calmer around other dogs and far easier to manage in social situations. Paul is always on hand to answer any questions, and I really appreciated that he also gave me “corrections” for myself when needed — it made a huge difference to our consistency. Overall, a fantastic trainer who genuinely cares about long-term results. I have already recommended him to another friend, who has signed himself up already !

Absolutely fantastic! I don’t even know where to begin. Paul has been a lifesaver with my 1.5‑year‑old Cockapoo. I rehomed her at 6 months old, and despite having had no prior training or direction, she was a dream dog—great recall, no pulling on the lead, everything I could have hoped for. However, after her first season she was spayed (on vet advice), and things changed dramatically. She became fixated on shadows, reflections, and moving lights to the point where she would lunge into roads and even go missing. It was incredibly distressing for both of us, and walks became a source of constant stress instead of joy. On the recommendation of a fellow dog owner who had worked with Paul, I reached out—and I’m so glad I did. After just 8 weeks of loose‑lead training, the transformation has been remarkable. She now walks calmly by my side, no longer lunges into roads, and isn’t fazed by passing vehicles—she looks to me instead! Her recall is excellent, and while we occasionally use an e‑collar, she doesn’t rely on it. Most importantly, all those worrying behaviours have disappeared. Even more amazing, we’ve now spent a month solo without Paul and we’re still going strong—getting better and better every day. It’s truly magical and heart‑warming to have such a beautiful bond with my pup. Thanks to Paul, my bond with my dog has grown stronger than ever. She thrives on the structure, routine, and boundaries he helped us establish. I finally have my freedom back, and she has hers too. Walks are enjoyable again, and our home life is calm and relaxed. Paul is a legend, and I am eternally grateful for his guidance. Thank you, Paul!

I can’t recommend Loose Lead Club enough- Paul is fantastic… calm, professional, approachable, knowledgable, clear and simple, clearly has a lot of experience with many different breeds with all sorts of challenges… and no question is a silly question. Trains owners as much as the dog! They offer something very unique that I’ve not seen elsewhere! We were part of programme 5, and the benefit to my 2 dogs was priceless, worth every penny. Weekly 121 sessions, zoom group calls covering all different behaviour and training insight, and unlimited access to your trainer via WhatsApp for as much support as you need. It’s intense, you have to put the work in, it can feel uncomfortable, but watching it all come together is so so rewarding. I have 2 very different dogs, we managed to address challenges with both to the point that I was walking them both off lead in places I’d never imagined! I’d put a lot of training and obedience in before but it took stripping things back to basics, reintroducing some structure and consistency, engagement through play, me being calm and less anxious, and teaching a working dog to switch off and be ‘a dog’ to get results I am very proud of. Paul was fantastic to work with, trust his process and I would recommend the programme to anyone serious about giving your dog the best and happiest life possible!

Lottie my 18 month old bull herder has a lot of energy and enthusiasm, which is typical for this mix of breeds. She used to pull on the lead and if given half a chance she would jump up at people, with there being a high risk of her causing harm. This then resulted in walks being hard work and then in me needing them to be in quiet and/or predictable places, so as to avoid overstimulation and/or incident. Further, Lottie was never off lead unless in rented paddocks. This was no life for her and there was clear risk of Lottie becoming frustrated and this then leading to more serious behavioural issues, which I could not have coped with. I contacted Paul at the Loose Lead Club, explained my concerns and we had our first session the following week. Fast forward to six sessions later and I've gained knowledge and skills which have increased my understanding and confidence in managing Lottie and in turn my being able to give her clear guidance. Plus, Lottie is off lead, in non-busy areas, her recall is beyond my expectation and she makes the decision, all by herself, not to go too far away. We also go to lots of different places now and I’m looking forward to the spring and going on walks further afield. I would recommend the Loose Lead Club to others and the best thing about working with Paul has been the significant change in our day-to-day lives.

My Rottweiler, Rocco, has just finished his loose lead training, and I honestly can’t recommend the team highly enough. I applied for the program because I was really starting to struggle with Rocco’s behaviour. He turned one, and suddenly things began to change. He started lunging at joggers and motorbikes, pulling on the lead, and barking at people as soon as we stepped outside. It got to the point where I didn’t even want to take him out on my own. Deep down, I knew Rocco was feeding off my energy. I’m not a naturally confident person, and he was definitely picking up on that. A few weeks into the program, I began to see progress, but it was still hard work. I even considered giving Rocco up, something I really didn’t want to do, but I was finding it overwhelming. Thankfully, with the support and encouragement from Paul and Jake, I stuck with it and kept doing my homework. I still can’t quite believe the difference now. I’m walking my dog off lead across Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park with no reaction to other dogs or people. His recall is incredible, and I honestly think Rocco is now the best-behaved dog on Putney Heath! Jake, my trainer, was amazing. He didn’t just help Rocco, he helped me gain confidence too. On our final session, Rocco sat calmly outside a park while dogs, mobility scooters, and young children passed by, things he used to be very wary of. We even walked past a pond full of ducks and pigeons, and he didn’t even flinch. He stayed sitting until I gave him the OK, even from a distance. I’m so proud of how far we’ve come. If you’re considering taking part in the Loose Lead training program, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s honestly the best thing you’ll ever do for your dog, and for yourself.
