FREQUENT QUESTIONS
60 Day Programme
Yes this is a programme for any dog of any age. Most programmes have, an adolescence dog and dogs who are four, five, six or even older. Yes we can teach old dogs new tricks.
We speacalise in dogs with unwanted reactive behaviour. You might have a reactive dog a dog that just barks and pulls on the lead. Whatever the level of the reactvity this 60 Day Programme is for you.
We deliver our 1 to 1 sessions at your house and then out to your surronding parks, woods, town centres and other places your are struggling.
Sessions are 90mins long and are super practical, we won't waste your time sitting down discussing the behaviour we will know all this on your behaviour in take forms and your pre 1 to 1 homework will ensure you can make the most of your trainers coaching.
For some clients who live outside our geographical coverage we will ask you to travel in. We often have clients making trips for several hours to work with us and they still see amazing results.
We pride ourselves on the indivivdual coaching we give you. Our approach is that the welfare of the dogs is the heart of all the descions we make.
There will be certain elements that all dogs will be coached to have. A really solid marker system (don't worry if you don't know what that is we will coach you). A really good lead walk (again we will sort this out) plus solid recall (again we can give you this). Other issuses we will work with you on a indvidual basis to help you achieve the outcome you want.
This is probably the most crucial aspecty of the Programme. The trainer will be with you for 90 minutes in a week. What happens in the remaining 9,990 minutes of the week will ensure your dog and yourself are succesful.
The WhatsApp group you can use for coaching each day by asking for feedback. Ensuring the trainer is'nt left guessing that the work is happening between sessions.
In order to qualify for our money back offer you must update the trainer a minimum of 3 times a week in your group. This can be written message, voice notes or video for feedback.
The video content libary is open to you before the start of the practical sessions. They give you guidance on how to teach the technical aspects of dog training.
They will enable you to teach your dog things such as a solid down stay, how not to rush out the door, how to ensure your rewards aren't bribery and are in fact a reinforcer for the behaviour.
The video libary is a crucial part of the Programme so you are ready and prepped for your trainer to arrive at your practical session ready to make the most of the the time you are with them?
We hear this a lot, especially from owners who’ve been told theirs is “just like that”. Most of our clients come to us feeling the same way.
They’ve tried the YouTube tips, the group classes, maybe even a couple of trainers who didn’t really get working breeds. The Programme is built specifically for you and your dog thats struggles with recall, excitability, reactivity, and impulse control.
We don’t teach novelty tricks. We address the reason why, the mindset, and the behaviour so you get real change you can actually live with.
These are an evening session where we offer you the opportunity to ask any dog training question. They are attended by everyone on the Programme. They also offer you the opportunity to learn further about canine behaviour and the whys behind behaviour, how to modify and best practices.
This is a concern all the time with people making inquiries with us.
Roughly 75% of people that join the programme have seen a behaviourist, joined a dog training class (often kicked out), been told to use higher and higher value treats, rattle stoned filled bottles at the dog, been told to walk the dog at quiet times. You name it we have heard it.
We pride ourselves in being able to show you the outcomes of our work and clients are stumbling over themseleves to give us video testimonials.
Our content on our social media consitently shows real dogs in real scenarios.

We get it most people picture training as hours of drills and homework and that’s why they put it off.
What we’re actually doing is changing the behaviour that’s already draining your time every day. You don’t need to carve out massive chunks of the day, you just need to know what to do in the moments you’re already dealing with the dog.
Short, clear guidance that fits normal life, not some military timetable.
The funny thing is, people say they don’t have time for this, yet they’re spending way more time managing the behaviour as it is. Fixing it frees up time.
We get people to train on the walk that you usally do and teach the dog how to be a chilled dog that can wait nicely for their next outing, removing the need to find the nect enrichment game.
Classes can feel like the obvious next step, and we completely understand why.
The problem is that group classes, either for reactivity or general dog behaviour, take place in a controlled, artificial environment with the same dogs, the same setting, and a very predictable structure.
Dogs often manage well in that bubble, but the moment you're back on a real walk, in a real situation, the wheels come off. The behaviour hasn't actually changed, it's just been managed in a setting that doesn't reflect your dog's actual life.
That's why so many owners come to us having already done classes and still struggling with the same issues. We work in the real world, with your specific dog, in the situations that actually matter to you. That's where lasting change happens.
I use an approach that starts with positive reinforcement as the foundation. Most of the work we do focuses on rewarding the behaviours you want to see—that's where the real learning happens and where dogs are most motivated.
However, I also believe in being honest: training includes addressing unwanted behaviours when they occur. The dog needs to understand the fair and proportional consequence.
For exmple - If they jump on people, they don't get attention, you put the put on the lead and the jumping no longer works, if they do jump up the lead will correct this behaviour. These aren't harsh corrections; they're how dogs naturally learn.
The key difference in my approach is that I never use anything that causes pain or fear. Everything has to be proportionate, fair and taught.
Think of it like parenting—you praise effort, commitment and good behaviour, but you also have boundaries. A child doesn't get a reward for everything they do that please you or society, and sometimes 'NO' is the answer. Dogs are the same. What matters is the relationship—does the dog trust you? Do they want to work with you? That's what I'm building."
We have 100s or reviews and check out our TESTIMONIAL (/reviewsfromdogowners)page here.
All these dogs now understand a fair NO and the owners are all saying the dog is happier and they have a better realtionship.
